Countdown to Upper Heyfest – 2 days to go
It wouldn’t be a beer and music festival without local beers & cider, here’s a teaser to get your taste buds twitching. Of course, there is also a full bar available.
Hufflepuff, Little Ox Brewery
This pale ale is a careful concoction of prime hops layered on top of a soft caramel base. Full and fruity on the palate, it gives way to a lingering hop finish that will case a spell on you to want more.
Wipeout, Shiny Brewery
A hugely popular gluten free session IPA. A smashable juice frenzy hopped with Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe.
Brill Gold, Vale Brewery
A golden ale bringing you silky smooth satisfaction with a fresh twist, delivering a refreshing taste that’s simply irresistible.
Old Rosie, Westons Cider
The Original Cloudy Cider. Light, crisp and dry, this truly old fashioned cloudy still cider is slowly matured and left unfiltered. A traditional cidery taste, with classic spicy and citrusy notes.
Lily the pink cider, Celtic Marches
Our golden girl is a medium fruity cider with a gorgeous delicate hue. Made using 100% cider apples, from our very own Herefordshire farm, Lily has an intense fruity nose and is gently sweet on the palate. Lily's subtle balance of fresh cider apples, candy apple sweetness and light body makes for a very easy drinking and quaffable cider.
Souvenir pint glasses (as pictured) will be available to purchase for just £5 each.
The bars are provided courtesy of Dave and Emma from the Oxford Bar Company who are based in our village. By being incredibly generous and feeding profits back to the Parish Council they have made this free community event possible and we cannot thank them enough.
