Countdown to Upper Heyfest – 1 day to go
Just one more sleep to go!
Over the past few days, we’ve covered the food, the beer, the bars, the entertainment, the music, some handy tips. Now we’d like to highlight the overwhelming generosity of local organisations supporting this community event, we’d like to thank The Oxford Bar Company for feeding profits back into the village, Heyford Smiles for their financial donation, Dave Wyatt for lending us the trailer being used as the stage and Lords Builders Merchants for providing bags to be used as rubbish bins. Plus the wonderful Marak James from Stages Theatrical for providing the stage technical equipment and for being our fabulous host.
The weather is not looking promising, frustrating after so many weeks of it being so dry, however, the festival is still going ahead, the beer still refreshing, the food tasty and the entertainment fabulous! We have provided covered areas for you to sit and relax and we are happy for you to bring your own pop up gazebo's to be placed around the outer edge. Don your waterproofs and get up and dance in the rain!
Now let’s mention the volunteers behind the scenes who are pulling it all together. From setting everything up, parking attendants, to litter pickers along with the clear up - events like this could not happen without them.
